Original / Uber | Modern | Alternative | Romance (alt) | Novel - 318 pages | Finished | Oct-09
A novella about an insanely wealthy white womans search for her soul mate and the debt ridden black woman writer, with a vivid imagination, who tries to keep out of her way.
I really liked this story. It had an innovating plot, unlike any I've seen before. The characters will suprise you with the lengths they are willing to go for an obsession. There will be plenty of laughs in this one. So prepared to be highly entertained. - Anonymous - Oct-06-2009

Fantastic romance of the twisted brains variety and a humorous 'revenge of the thinkers' plot. As a person who has one of those 'angry men' as a neighbor, I got a lot of chuckles. Nifty new vocab too, like 'straightopia'. LOL! - Dusty - Oct-06-2009

I relish stories like these. It is so unique and very different from the norm that it takes you off guard.

How often do we read the same story - girl meets girl; girl figures out how to talk to girl and they both live happily ever after, the end.

This was definitely not a predictable read and I love that. This is one that I will read again. - Emma - Nov-11-2009

Arrgh! I can't believe it ended there. This is one of the most unusual works I've read, and that's a very good thing. I was laughing aloud at times. I'd love to read more about these gals' zany adventures (into love?). Please give us a sequel -- soon. - Lisel - Dec-13-2009
